Salaries, wages and reporting

With yri.fi you can manage your salary payments in a simple way. You enter the gross salary and the program calculates all ancillary costs such as earnings-related pension, tax withholding, etc. and the net salary, i.e. the amount paid into the salary recipient's account.

Integration into the Incomes Register

For each salary payment, a notification must be made to the Incomes Register. After the end of the month, a summary report of the month's salary payments must also be submitted. This can be done via the Incomes Register's own web interface if you wish. A more efficient way is to use yri.fi's integration with the Incomes Register and submit the reports as xml files directly to the system. When the month is over, you can press a button and the system will create all the files needed and you can submit them directly from the system.

Information for a new employer

The following insurances are required (normally) for an employee who is not considered an entrepreneur:

- TyEL insurance (employment pension)
- Statutory accident insurance for employees

The above insurances must be taken out before the salary can be reported to the Incomes Register.

However, if the employee is considered an entrepreneur, YEL insurance (entrepreneur's pension) must be taken out instead of an earnings-related pension.
